??? What can you expect when you come to The Way ???

C - (Comfortable) The first thing you will encounter on campus at Stonecreek Jr. High is a warm smile greeting you underneath our outside information area. As you enter the front doors, you are welcome to enjoy some good coffee or a cold bottle of water. Our morning worship starts at 9:30am and will end at 11:15am. We have a very warm and friendly atmosphere where you can come dressed in whatever way makes you feel relaxed and at home.

H - (Hospitality) Knowing one another and showing authentic care and love is an important characteristic to our church. Don't be scared away if others approach you to get to know you! We encouarage you to grab a cup of java, say hi to someone, and help yourself to the table of your choosing. We sit at tables so that you can have a place for your bible, coffee, and material to take notes with. At each table you will also see a "worship centerpiece" which is simply a tray fully equipped for your morning study, giving, and informational material. Feel free to take home any of the materials or notebooks you see there. We want to bless you! The cup and the bread are for our time spent in communion together (see "R" below).

U - (Unity) We open with prayer followed by a video. This helps us begin our focus toward God by setting our attention upon Him. The video is geared to help us understand why and how God uses ordinary people like us to accomplish His purposes and mission all over the world. Following our announcements we meet and greet one another and then we express our love and joy to God during a time of song and praise. We enjoy biblical forms of worship which include standing and clapping, raising of our hands, kneeling or simply worshiping in silence. During this time we will pause to give our tithes and offerings which will be used through The Way Fellowship toward ministry which includes the care of one another and supporting local and global missions. (If you are a guest please do not feel any obligation to give.)

R - (Reflection & Response) Taking time to hear a weekly teaching from the Bible is a core component of our faith and life as a church . We center our service towards the act of listening and of learning from Jesus chapter by chapter, verse by verse from His Word. We know that this is the active and changing agent God uses to bring about His life and spirituality in us as believers and as His disciples. Communion (the bread and the cup) is a major theme during our morning time spent together. This is an opportunity to reflect and to respond to the Lord by expressing inner decisions of the heart. Typically churches may have "altar calls" and have you raise a hand or such as a response to become a Christian or to re-new ones devotion to Christ. God has put it upon our hearts at The Way Fellowship to re-discover a fresh connection with this act of Christ's call to "do this often in remembrance of me" (taking communion). We also look at this as a time to devote ourselves as one family and as one body together following Christ and His eternal Kingdom mission here on earth.

C - (Children) Our "Crazy for Christ" children's church is just that - a ministry designed just for kids. Nursery is immediately available for babies and toddlers to be signed in and cared for at 9:20am. Just ask any of our greeters or leaders, and they will show you to the many signs directing you along the right path leading to our children's classroom. K-5th grade also will go directly to their class with the exception of staying with a parent or guardian during worship on the last Sunday of the month to experience family worship.

H - (Helping Hand's) Our leaders are always available immediately after service to pray with you and to offer our help and assistance to you. We have female leaders who are also ready to pray with and to encourage our women. Whether you have questions, need prayer for something in your life or just need someone to talk to we are ready to serve and to love in Jesus name! Helping hands are always welcome to assist in tearing down and loading up our trailer after service each week.
